6G-INTENSE Participation at IEEE NFV-SDN 2025

The 6G-INTENSE Project proudly participated in the IEEE NFV-SDN 2025 Conference, held from 10 to 12 November in Athens. The event is recognised as one of the leading international fora for advances in AI-native networking, intent-driven management, and next-generation 6G orchestration technologies.
During the conference, 6G-INTENSE contributed to two joint Special Sessions showcasing its progress in Distributed Intent-driven Management and Orchestration (DIMO) and AI-driven, zero-touch automation mechanisms for future 6G environments.
Scientific Contributions
The project’s technical expertise was highlighted through two paper presentations:
“LLM-Based Conversational Assistant for Intent-Driven Management”, presented by Swastika Roy (Iquadrat).
“Cloud-Edge-Continuum Abstraction and Management for Multi-Technology Heterogeneous Domains Orchestration in 6G Systems”, presented by Vasileios Theodorou, PhD (Intracom Telecom).
Session Highlights
The sessions provided insight into:
The architectural concept of AI-native zero-touch orchestration enabling autonomous decision-making across distributed domains.
The integration of LLM-based reasoning, distributed intelligence, and collaborative inference contributing to the realisation of the DIMO vision.
Joint discussions with the FLECON-6G project, reinforcing strong cooperation within the EU research ecosystem.
Through these activities, 6G-INTENSE continues to contribute to Europe’s leadership in 6G research and innovation, driving forward intelligent, autonomous, and sustainable network management paradigms.
We extend our sincere thanks to all partners and presenters for their valuable engagement, collaboration, and contributions during NFV-SDN 2025.
