6G-INTENSE Catalyst project approved by TM Forum
We are pleased to announce that the 6G-INTENSE Catalyst project has been officially approved by TM Forum.
Title:“6G INTENSE: Intent-driven operations for distributed edge”
This Catalyst proposes a deep-edge, ultra-reliable content delivery solution to show how operators can become edge service platforms, reduce operational costs, and open new B2B revenue streams.
The project introduces an intent-driven, AI-powered orchestration framework that autonomously manages a distributed network–compute fabric spanning RAN, core, and deep-edge domains across multiple operators.
Leveraging TM Forum Open APIs, the solution translates high-level business intents into real-time operational actions, enabling:
-Closed-loop SLA assurance
-Automated fault management
-Continuous service adaptation
-Autonomous cross-domain orchestration
The Catalyst delivers strong industry value by extending TM Forum artefacts to better support intent-driven, distributed edge operations, while concretely demonstrating high-value Autonomous Network (AN) Level 4 scenarios. This proves both standards-aligned innovation and measurable operational impact.
