We’re excited to announce that CAMAD 2024 was a huge success, gathering 150 participants from over 20 countries across four continents. The event saw an impressive turnout from the industry, which made up 30% of attendees. This year, we received 228 paper, abstract, and demo submissions, with 116 selected for presentation and 11 demos. Highlights included 2 inspiring keynote talks, 8specialised sessions, and 3 co-located workshops.

The 6G-INTENSE Project proudly participated in IEEE CAMAD 2024, hosting a Special Session on Intent-Based Networking (IBN).

The papers presented triggered an inspiring debate among researchers and industry experts, with IQUADRAT Informatica and INTRACOM leading the discussion around basic IBN concepts, feasible architectures, and potential applications. REALWORD highlighted IBN’s transformative role in Automated Network Inventory Solutions while ISI/ATH outlined AI-models utility in 6G networks, addressing challenges such as security and scalability. Finally, OTE focused on the highly relevant issue of social development goals that innovative networks should comply with.

Through this session, 6G-INTENSE demonstrated its commitment to advancing network innovation and the future of intelligent telecommunications.
