6G-INTENSE PoC Accepted by ETSI ZSM!
We are excited to announce that the 6G-INTENSE Proof of Concept (PoC) for ETSI Zero-touch Network and Service Management (ZSM) has been officially accepted! This marks a significant milestone for the project and reinforces our commitment to advancing intelligent, automated, and trustworthy network management in the 6G era.
About the PoC
PoC Title: Trustworthy Zero-touch Network and Service Management in 6G Networks with XAI and LLMs.
This PoC showcases the 6G-INTENSE Domain Manager and Orchestrator (DMO) solution, demonstrating an AI-driven closed-loop automation framework for managing network services.
Key Highlights of the PoC
- Intent-driven closed-loop automation: The PoC integrates an Intent-Based Networking (IBN) approach, ensuring that networks adapt dynamically based on high-level business goals.
- AI-driven anomaly detection: Machine learning techniques identify and mitigate performance issues in cloud-native networks.
- Explainable AI (XAI) for Root Cause Analysis: XAI techniques provide insights into detected anomalies, enhancing transparency and trust.
- Large Language Models (LLMs) for Human-Friendly Explanations: LLMs generate intuitive reports on network issues, making troubleshooting more accessible.
- Resource optimization and SLA compliance: The system dynamically adjusts CPU and RAM resources to maintain service quality and prevent performance violations.
Collaboration & Acknowledgments
This PoC is the result of a strong collaboration between EURECOM, ISI, IQU, OTE, ORO, and the 6G-INTENSE consortium. We extend our gratitude to all partners for their contributions and to ETSI ZSM for recognizing the value of this innovative work.
Upcoming Demonstrations
The PoC will be presented at major industry events in 2025:
- IoT Solutions World Congress 2025 and/or
- EuCNC & 6G Summit 2025
