6G-INTENSE Project 4th Plenary Meeting | Barcelona, Spain , January 27–28, 2026

Day 1 – Technical Progress and Integration Foundations
The first day opened with welcome remarks from the host, followed by management, coordination, and reporting updates. An overview of the project’s technical progress set the stage for detailed discussions across the core technical work packages.

Key technical sessions included:

  • WP2 – Architecture Design and Requirements Analysis, with updates on the overall system architecture and design evolution.

  • WP3 – Native AI Toolkit for Zero-Touch Operations, covering:

    • LLM-driven machine reasoning for intent decomposition

    • Hierarchical reinforcement learning for intent propagation and conflict resolution

    • Federated domain edge intelligence and knowledge optimisation

    • Domain Manager and Orchestrator (DMO) implementation and Native AI integration, presented by eBOS

  • WP4 – Network-Compute Fabric for 6G Networks, focusing on:

    • Network-Compute abstraction frameworks

    • Dependable sensing and actuation at the deep edge

    • SD-WAN-based CEC interconnection

    • Integration of DMO with abstraction frameworks

Day 2 – Experimentation, Validation, and Impact Activities

The second day was dedicated to system integration, experimentation, and impact-driven activities.

Discussions focused on:

  • WP5 – Integration and Use Case Validation, including:

    • Experimentation platform setup

    • Software integration

    • Technology validation and dataset generation in laboratory environments

  • WP6 – Dissemination, Communication, Standardisation, and Exploitation, addressing:

    • Ongoing and upcoming outreach and communication activities

    • Contributions to standardisation bodies

    • Exploitation planning and IPR management strategies

These sessions supported alignment on validation objectives, ensured coherence between technical and dissemination efforts, and reinforced the project’s pathway toward measurable impact.
